Software Issue

Service Description

The Information Technology (IT) department can help configure or troubleshoot supported software and applications on College-owned devices.

The IT department provides full support for the following applications:

  • Windows 7
  • Apple OS X
  • Windows 10
  • Safari
  • Internet Explorer
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Word
  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
   

The IT department will make a "best effort" to provide support on all other College-owned software.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

User Responsibilities:

  • Provide a detailed report of the software issue including the computer(s) affected and location
  • User agrees to grant access to their office or work location to troubleshoot the software issue
  • User agrees to grant remote access to their device (if applicable) to troubleshoot the issue

IT Responsibilities:

  • Assist with software that is not starting or functioning properly
  • Keep user informed of the status of request
