Trouble Resetting Your Password?

To reset your Middlesex College password, start at the Microsoft Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) page:
https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/

If you are having trouble resetting your password using the SSPR page, please review the information below.

Common Reasons Password Reset Fails

• If you recently received a new phone or device, your Microsoft Authenticator app may need to be reconfigured.
• If your multi-factor authentication (MFA) is set to SMS (text message) or phone call, it will not work for password resets.
• SSPR requires the Microsoft Authenticator app to be configured and set as your default authentication method.

Important: Using Microsoft Authenticator to Reset Your Password

To reset your password, you must use the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile phone.

1. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone.
2. Find and select your Middlesex College account.
3. The app will display a one-time pass code.
4. Enter this one-time pass code on the password reset screen when prompted.

Without retrieving and entering the one-time pass code listed in the Microsoft Authenticator app, you will not be able to successfully reset your password.
