Setup Office 365 e-mail on a phone

Overview

Middlesex County College has subscribed to the Office 365 service offered by Microsoft for all faculty, staff and students.  Office 365 has a mobile application, allowing you to access email and calendaring from anywhere that you have internet access.

Please be aware that Office 365 Mobile Access may require device encryption and use of a passcode due to the sensitive data contained within the application.  Middlesex County College reserves the right to remove the Office 365 application from your mobile device in the event the device is lost or stolen.

Steps

The following steps apply to many mobile devices, however the screen may vary slightly.

  • Download the Microsoft Outlook app.  Android users can find this app in the Play STore, iOS users can find it in the App Store.
  • Open Outlook.
  • Click on Get Started.
  • Enter your email address (this is your NetID followed by @middlesexcc.edu if you are a staff member or @my.middlesexcc.edu if you are a student)

  • Click Continue.

  • Choose Office 365

  • Enter your email address
  • Enter your password.
  • Click Sign-in

 

Your Inbox will open and your main folders will be displayed.  To see additional folders click on "See All Folders"
